Meet My New Friend...

As our time on the west coast is drawing to a close, I'm on the hunt for the perfect place to sell my furniture. As much as my Dad loves the fact that they take up about 1/2 of his garage space, I know that I must find a permanent home for my beloved 1sts.

This brought us on a family adventure to downtown Orange. It was quite reminisceint for me since my adult life started right there on that street. I can still picture Chapman University in it's original grandeur and all the promise that it held for my future. It seems quite poetic to have my pieces reside in an antique shop just down the road. How much I have changed in the last 15 years, yet find myself still the same young girl inside striving to find my niche and make a difference in this world.

Everyday I find the pen adding more and more pages my story and the journey of my life creating new chapters. As this chapter comes to a close and I stroll down the street of the past, I see life everywhere. Every one of these pieces sitting in these stores have their own story to tell. They are just waiting for someone to come and help them write the next chapter in their life. It is with this understanding that I stumbled upon a new friend, an old planer. I've been dreaming of buying a planer as soon as I started my new adventure on the east coast. I was honestly considering a fancy new one that would make my jobs a bit faster. However, when I saw this guy I just knew that he was waiting for with baited breathe to be put to work once again. So it makes sense to join together where our pasts collided and move on to build a new chapter together. :)
